Jo has demonstrated basic knowledge and understanding of the factors to consider for creative design. Elements of an educational toy have been considered but scale, aspects of safety, and production details have not been included. The sketch is clear, but requires additional detail and more descriptive labelling. There is evidence of creativity in the interchangeable components, but the inclusion of small parts limits the suitability of the toy for the target market. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at grade D standard.

Grade D
