Casey has demonstrated a high level of competence in designing, sketching, rendering and labelling a creative, educational toy. Thorough knowledge and understanding of the processes involved is evident in the choice of interactive components and a variety of material, textures and shapes to appeal to a child’s senses and fine motor skill development. There is a clear explanation of the function of the toy but further investigation of design factors and the safety aspects of parts would be beneficial.
