Scaffold for Planning a First-Hand Investigation

You work for a consumer magazine that tests the claims of commercially available products. You and your laboratory technician have been asked to test the claim that a ‘teaspoon of “Rose Enhancer” will make your roses grow twice as quick’. You are asked to plan a first-hand investigation to test this claim.

Aim: To determine if a teaspoon of ‘Rose Enhancer’ doubles the growth rate of roses.

Equipment/resources:

Here you list all equipment and resources you and your laboratory technician will need to carry out your investigation.

Procedure:
