Drew has demonstrated elementary knowledge and understanding of the importance of a balanced diet. The meal plan is brief and shows little knowledge and understanding of the Dietary Guidelines. Some essential meals for the adults have been omitted and the plan lacks a wide variety of food choices. Reference has been made to the impact of cultural influences on food choices, but social influences have not been included. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at grade E standard.
