Reese has demonstrated highly developed aural skills and understanding of the musical concepts evident in this piece. A detailed description of instruments and their roles using accurate musical terminology has been provided and the different elements of blues and rock have been identified and discussed. Although the structural observations are correct they would benefit from additional detail. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at grade A standard.

The student has an extensive knowledge and understanding of the content and can readily apply this knowledge. In addition, the student has achieved a very high level of competence in the processes and skills and can apply these skills to new situations.
