Ricky has demonstrated basic knowledge and understanding of patterns and algebra. The table has been correctly completed and the diagram has been accurately constructed, but the calculation for twenty tunnels has not been included. Ricky has demonstrated a basic understanding of the concept of algebraic rules and has identified the pattern of adding 3 to complete the table of values, but the rule provided is incorrect and there is no explanation of how it was obtained. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at grade D standard at the end of Stage 4.
