Morgan has demonstrated sound knowledge and understanding of the impact of colonisation on Aboriginal peoples. An attempt has been made to identify the perspectives of the two groups and address some of the main issues. Examples of specific events have been included, but the response needed to address the issues of disease and land in more detail. The structure is adequate but a little disjointed. Some historical terms and concepts have been used but the conclusion needs further development. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at grade C standard.

The student has a sound knowledge and understanding of the main areas of content and has achieved an adequate level of competence in the processes and skills.
