Frances has demonstrated thorough knowledge and understanding of the importance of the Nile to Egyptians and the main features of life along the river. Information has been effectively communicated using the scaffold provided but the response has not been written as a report to the pharaoh. There are some errors in the information and the response would be strengthened by the inclusion of additional historical detail and terminology. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at grade B standard.

Grade B

The student has a thorough knowledge and understanding of the content and a high level of competence in the processes and skills. In addition, the student is able to apply this knowledge and these skills to most situations.
