Listening and Responding - Bobby : Grade Commentary
Bobby has correctly identified the items in the listening activity, demonstrating extensive understanding of the main ideas and supporting detail. A very high level of competence in expressing ideas in writing and applying learnt linguistic structures has been demonstrated. A wide range of vocabulary has been included and there is some use of compound sentences with correct word order. The verb endings, sentence structure and gender are consistently correct and capitals have been used to denote nouns. There are some minor spelling errors but Bobby has demonstrated a strong grasp of German grammar. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at grade A standard.
Grade A
The student has an extensive knowledge and understanding of the content and can readily apply this knowledge. In addition, the student has achieved a very high level of competence in the processes and skills and can apply these skills to new situations.
