Bobby has demonstrated a very high level of competence in composing an imaginative narrative with a clear sense of place, character and narrative voice on the contribution of Emily Kame Kngwarreye to Australian society. A strong sense of personal engagement and cultural awareness is apparent. Sophisticated language forms and features appropriate to audience, purpose and form have been used. There are very few errors, evidence of well-developed editing skills. This work sample demonstrates characteristics of work typically produced by a student performing at grade A standard at the end of Stage 4.

Grade A

The student has an extensive knowledge and understanding of the content and can readily apply this knowledge. In addition, the student has achieved a very high level of competence in the processes and skills and can apply these skills to new situations.
