Comparing length - Jo

Teacher Observations

The student chose appropriate objects to measure lengths and gave reasons why it
was necessary to align the ends of objects when using direct comparisons - ‘It’s easier
to see the bit left over when you put them together.’ The edge of the page was used
as a base line.
